I have known Priscilla Ong Shunmugam for years. When I was told I was invited to the glamorous annual Screen Actors Guild Awards 2015 as part of the Crazy Rich Asian cast, she was the first person I whatsapped to dress me. She came through like a light bulb. Imagine, I was in LA. She was in Singapore. Defying time zones, she reacted like the lightning bolt she is and sent over three options for me before I could say, “What Am I Going To Wear?”. With no fitting at all, all three outfits fitted me like a glove, and all three were definitely my style 100%. But I chose the one you see in the Getty Image below.

Last Saturday, she invited onto an IG live session to model one of her latest drops from her current collection, OM. Stuck in London with her British husband because of covid-19, she has been again, defying odds to continuing doing what she loves and does so well - create beautiful clothes. I wore her T9 dress. So easy to wear, made of a gorgeous uncreasable satin mix. Stylish but simple to wear. Elegant and easy. Dressy enough but approachable. I paired my outfit with simple gold hoops (borrowed from my daughter because I am not usually an accessories type of girl) and good chunky black platforms to give me some height without the knee strain.
